Iran skyller Muhammed-karikatyrerna på judarna

Den iranska diktaturen fyller i dagarna 27 år och i ett tal med anledning av detta passade Irans president Ahmadinejad på att ytterligare ventilera sitt judehat. I sitt tal hävdade presidenten att Europa förvandlats till ett sionisternas verktyg.
“Now in the West insulting the prophet is allowed, but questioning the Holocaust is considered a crime,” he said. “We ask, why do you insult the prophet? The response is that it is a matter of freedom, while in fact they (who insult the founder of Islam) are hostages of the Zionists. And the people of the US and Europe should pay a heavy price for becoming hostages to Zionists”
Den iranska ledaren Ali Khamenei gick några dagar tidigare om möjligt ännu längre och hävdade i ett TV-sänt tal den 7 februari att “sionisterna” betalat danska tecknare för att rita bilderna av Muhammed och att det är sionisternas mål att hetsa muslimer och kristna mot varandra:
“This is not about the journalist or cartoonist, who was paid by the Zionists to draw this cartoon in order to serve their impure purposes. The problem is that the European Leaders defend this act. They stand behind this vile and stupid act, and consider it to be legitimate and permit is as freedom of speech. That’s what this is about.

I assume that a profound Zionist plot is at the core of the matter. They are setting the Muslims and Christians against one another. This is very important for the Zionists - to set the great Muslim community around the world against the Christians, and to set the Christians against the Muslims. That’s what this is about. This is the handiwork of the Zionists.”
En åsikt som delas av universitetsföreläsaren Ali Muhi Al-Din Al-Qardaghi i Quatar som i ett TV-sänt tal den 3 februari sade bl a:
“Honorable brothers, a survey conducted some time ago in Europe showed that 67% of the Europeans hate the Jews. The Jewish leaders convened to decide what to do. They wanted to divert this hatred to the Muslims. This is a Crusader Zionist campaign, which is led by the extremist pro-Zionist right, headed by George Bush in America. I am sad to say this. This campaign is an attempt to arouse religious, Crusader fanaticism among the European peoples, because they were not responsive to the extremist right. They want to do so by provoking the Muslims, and perhaps some inappropriate deeds.
[…]
The Zionists, Jews, and Crusaders are behind this issue.”

Absolut viktigast att understryka i sammanhanget är att den här typen av antisemitism och det strukturella judehat som TV-talen visar är vardagsmat över hela mellanöstern. Det rör sig alltså inte om isolerad incidenter och skall man alls försöka förstå mellanösternkonflikten så tror jag att man måste ha väldigt klar för sig vilken sorts propagandamaskineri det är som uppfostrar palestinier, araber och perser.
