Exactly as I wrote before, the damages of the ambulances are not compatible with the firing of armourpenetrating missiles from UCAV´s. If delayed explosion missiles(penetrate and then brisade) were fired at the ambulances they would have caused extensive splinter damage to the undersides of the vehicles after brisading in the road coating. The HRW report does not mention such a damage pattern. On the other hand if the missiles were of the type made to explode at impact delivering a directed blow at the target, both ambulances would have been pulverized! Furthermore I am a little suspicious of the assumed use of red cross marked ambulances in that area in southern Lebanon so massively dominated by Shiits. Were the ambulances brought there for propagandistic purposes? After all, damaged ambulances with a red cross do have a much greater propagandistic impact in the west than red crescent marked ones!

It is not plausible , sorry there are planty of IDF drones video footage on youtube that shows what it used for and you can even see red cross ambulances in them.

drones are mostly for Surveillance tracing and marking (painting) targets, communications , GPS relay, their advantage is being able to operate through all weather (sophisticated optics ect`) and long periods of time over the area of intrest,not predatory missions (at least not in the sense it makes the actual kill but in the sense it is gathering information or intel tool that could be used for predatory missions)it’s actualy low cost replacement for expensive heavy duty satellites and it is covering the disadvantage of satellites i.e lack of constant coverage of the area in intrest.
But the real point is all the data from the drone is getting into a MANNED command viechele (or any command center anywhere) in which people seat and make decisions and operate the damn thing.
Mostly it is autonomous operation but it can be controled and it is supervised by humans.

In looking at the engineering aspect of this the ambulance could not be in the condition shown after being struck by a missile. Kinetic energy is mass of missile times velocity squared divided by two. Ke=1/2*m*v(squared). Assume a weight of 20 lbs for the missile with a speed of 700 mph this gives roughly 155000 fl-lbs of force. If this exploded under the vehicle then shrapnel should have come back up through the floor or at least bowed the floor up. Also my bet is that the vehicle would have been lifted up from the road with severe damage to the bottom and probably not movable without a wrecker. Also since the distance from road to bottom of vehicle is roughly 10 inches and the missle is let’s say 48 inches then some portion of the missile would have been in the vehicle when the explosion happened.
